Onwards and upwards, as they say.

Good news!!!

I have had my letter from work inviting me to a interview on Wednesday 9th May to move forward with my company to a higher position, which should be interesting. So I may be a manager in about 7-8 months, I hope they know what they are letting themselves in for!

I will let you know how I got on and wish me luck!

I am going paintballing on Saturday, which is good as I have not done it since army training, so I hope that I don't get shot too much.

Virginia Tech University

I was watching the news on the shooting at the Virginia Tech University and it was very upsetting to see the loss of life and was shocked when I read the paper today to see that the death toll has gone up to 33 and may continue to rise and it is even worst to know that this has started to become common in America over the past few years.

As a British person, I don't really understand why Americans, mostly in Conservative regions like the Deep South, believe that it is their right to own a gun.

I think the country should now start to look at changing this 18th Century belief and realise that guns are not toys and are not something that people should own freely, I just hope that a future government passes laws to fight better against the gun market so events like what happened yesterday start to fade away.

Campaigning in Walton

Good news. I am going out campaigning for the Conservative Party again!!!

I have not done any since I was out in Bromley as I have been to busy with work and University but now that I am getting back in politics, I can go out again.

This time I will be in Walton on Sunday campaigning for Rowan Cole against the Surrey Residents' Associations. Here is a extract about it from the Facebook event and the website.

Hear yea, hear yea! Come one and all to the first, and hopefully not only Surrey CF get together for the campaign season... Yes this really could be your last chance to have a glorious swipe at smug Tony before your life gets all dour and Scottish...

Supporting one of the many CF members standing in the elections in Surrey this year Rowan Cole is fighting the scourge of Surrey (Residents' Associations in Walton), so join in with some delivering and have a chat with some locals over a pub lunch...

So wish us luck and I will let you know how I got on here and on the Surrey Conservative Future blog.
